Original Roast is Maxwell House’s® signature medium roasted coffee, made with mixture of Arabica and Robust original roasted beans.
Our Coffee become first served to visitors of Nashville’s Maxwell Hotel in 1892. After a depletion of coffee, the luxuriance resort needed to go back to their typical brand of Java to the dismay in their visitors. The patrons cherished our espresso so much, they complained to the resort and shortly Maxwell House Coffee have become the simplest coffee served on the lodge. That’s how Maxwell House® were given its name, and our coffee has been desirable to the ultimate drop ever since.
