The Keurig coffee maker became increasingly popular as many people switched to working at home during the pandemic. According to , 33 million households bought Keurig machines in 2020. Keurig has just released its first WiFi-connected brewer.

This brewer automatically detects K-Cup pods through Brew ID and adjusts the brew settings including temperature and strength. Keurig claims that its coffee experts spent over a year perfecting and testing the settings for each pod. However, they note that it is an “ever-evolving” process as new K-Pods come out.

You can also choose to set your own brew setting with the K-Supreme Plus Smart. This smart coffee maker allows you to customize your coffee with six temperature settings, five strengths, and five cups sizes. You can choose a personal setting that you like and save it as a favorited or rename it.

You can access your favorites both on the machine as well as via the Keurig App. The app can control the new Keurig coffee maker and set up automatic brews. Users can also use the Smart Auto-Delivery feature on the app. This keeps track how many pods are used and reminds you when you’re running low. It works in the same way as Amazon’s Subscribe to Save. Although it might seem like a marketing feature this could be very useful for those who forget to add items in their grocery lists.

The brand’s largest ever reservoir tank (78 ounces) is featured in the new model. It also uses multi-stream technology, which has five needles on the other models. This allows you to extract more flavor and get more coffee bed wet. The brand also claims that the stainless steel finish is easy to clean.

This machine is ideal for those who like iced coffee. It has a special setting that heats the coffee at a lower temp so that it can be directly poured onto ice. According to the company, the machine can be used with K-Cup hot chocolate pods, tea K-Cup pods, and other beverages. Additionally, the Keurig coffee filter is reusable and can be filled with your favorite ground bean.

The Keurig Super Plus Smart is currently available only on Keurig’s website. But, the retailer plans for it to be made available across the country in the coming months.
